As you become a Bar/Bat Mitzvah, Reuth Medical Center invites you to participate in our Bar/bat Mitzvah Friends program. Mark this special occasion with action, involve your family and friends, and truly make a difference in the lives of hundreds of Israeli patients.
Reuth Medical Center is a unique rehabilitation hospital in the heart is Israel, with a heart unlike any other. We care for our patients with compassion and sincerity, creating a warm atmosphere in the hospital which many patients and families call home. RMC has over 300 beds, is the only rehab hospital in Tel-Aviv and is the largest hospital of its kind in Israel.
Reuth Medical Center helps thousands of patients every year including soldiers, terrorist attack victims, children, car accident victims, and the elderly. We understand that the more we give-- the more our patients get;
Reuth invites you to become part of our family. It is no coincidence that Reuth means ‘friendship’ in Hebrew as we stand by all that come into our path.
Turn your hobbies into a chesed project in Israel or at home!!
Joining B’Nai Mitzvah Friends gives you the chance to share the joy of your celebration with others! Just as we individualize care for our patients, we’d love to create a unique project that speaks to you. This is a great opportunity to share your passions, interests and hobbies with family and friends and choose to influence the lives of others!
Get involved with our existing rehabilitation programs, which are unlike any other in Israel, including:
· Animal Therapy
· Art Therapy
Create your own project or event and choose where to donate funds. Decide which department your donation will focus on, or create a new project that is all your own! Projects can be run from your hometown or within Israel. Some suggestions
Inside of Israel

Volunteer in our Children’s department

Show off your musical talent and perform for patients

Spend a day in art therapy

Help distribute meals and visit with patients

Give a computer course for patients who are not familiar or web-savvy

Bring your cousins/aunts/uncles/friends with special talents to Reuth
Outside of Israel

Fund new wheelchairs or medical equipment

Host a basketball tournament to raise funds for in-house sports equipment

Sponsor personal music equipment for patients
- Ask guests to bring DVDs, Books, Games and/or stuffed animals for our patients
- Carwashes, bake sale or walkathons
- Sponsor a performance in the hospital or help purchase art materials
The ideas are infinite and we’d love to hear from you!! By working together, we can improve the lives of so many patients, catering to their needs while focusing on your interests!
