Attorney  Abe Neeman became President of Reuth Medical & Rehabilitation Center. The appointment brings to an end the fruitful presidency of former Bank Discount chairman Accountant Shlomo Zohar, who served in this position as a volunteer for 4 years, and led the Friends to significant achievements. 

Abe Neeman is a lawyer and real estate entrepreneur. Until recently he served as one of the managers of Ha'gush Ha'gadol in Tel Aviv and as Secretary of Managers. Formerly, he was a member of the Bank of Israel's Advisory Board (1982), Chair of the Beitar Jerusalem FC Center, Deputy Chair of the Israel Football Association (1969-1973), Chair of the League of Israel-Ethiopia Relations (1968-1978), Chair of the League of Israel-Spain Relations (1972-1978) and Chair of Rassco Construction (1981-1984). Today he serves as Honorary Consul of Serbia in Israel.

Says Abe Neeman: "Reuth Medical Center has been fulfilling a sacred mission for many years, and I feel pleased and excited to become head of its Friends. Together with many friends, I shall work to develop the hospital, so that patients may continue to receive the most advanced and devoted care available in Israel, and to ensure that Reuth Medical Center continues to be the leader in its field."

The Friends of Reuth Medical Center promote the hospital's development programs and raise funds for its special initiatives.
